School Years 7-9 is a phase of primary education for students aged 11-14, school years 7, 8 & 9 in England and Wales.

School Years 4-6

School Years 4-6 is a phase of primary education for students aged 8 to 11, school years 4, 5 & 6 in England and Wales.

USA High School Diploma

We offer the US High School Diploma with a continuous assessment process, so there are no final exam body papers to sit. This highly acclaimed qualification has been benchmarked against the UK GCSE’s and has been given a full UK statement of comparability by the UK DoE. Most UK colleges accept the USA High School Diploma.

Guidelines

SwitchedOn Education

Provides daily access to the SwitchedOn Educations digital curriculum. A teacher will be assigned to each learner, who will then be expected to monitor learners' progress. Teachers are also responsible for ensuring lessons are mastered and then unblocking quizzes and tests for learners to be assessed.

Home Educators

are responsible for ensuring that the learner carries out their work, monitors the learner's learning, invigilates during quizzes, tests and exams and completes the log.

Students

For best results, students should spend approximately 4-6 hrs per day in a 5 day school week on the SwitchedOn curriculum. This can be easily managed alongside other activities or other tuition. As each 10 unit course is designed to be completed within a year this translates to 2 learning activities per subject per day.
